LUZINTERRUPTS INTERVENTION

Spanish light art collective Luzinterruptus installed a “intervention” in rural Spain (specifically Molinicos, Albacete). Their “Floating Presences” forms an floating army along the town’s river, creating a surreal visual engaging directly with the local environment. The piece is part of the Rizoma Festival.

"80 lit presences populating the water, and observing with all attention what passed by them. All living in harmony among fish, ducks, children bathing and also neighbours. The villagers came closer, first curious, and then when they were more used to the floating characters, they wanted to assure themselves all was in perfect state."

Everything is illuminated, piercing and Angelic.
what a wonderful way to interact.
Soft bodies singing slowly down a river, pure beings.
Artwork containing the manipulation of light, always so fascinating
